The 8th Runhe Cup National Symposium on Finishing after Printing and Dyeing hosted by China Textile Engineering Society will be held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang on March 8.

In recent years, the textile printing and dyeing industry has faced the opportunities and challenges under the new situation, and has been brave to innovate and keep making progress.    There is no doubt that the printing and dyeing industry has seized the opportunity to pick up and handed over a good report card in the past year, but it will take more efforts to continue this achievement.
   The purpose of holding a national academic seminar on finishing after printing and dyeing is to build a platform for new achievements and information exchange in finishing after printing and dyeing.   Recalling that since the "Sixth National Symposium on Post-Dyeing and Finishing" was held, the Dyeing and Finishing Professional Committees of the Textile Engineering Society of various provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country have done a lot of work and organized various forms of academic exchanges and promotion activities. Enterprises, universities and research institutes have made great progress in the development and application of new technologies, new equipment, new products, new processes, new additives, and new materials. At the beginning of 2007, the China Textile Engineering Society established the 23rd Dyeing and Finishing Professional Committee. According to the plan of the professional committee, seminars are held every 3 to 4 years.

Take the yarn-dyed fabric composite functional finishing technology in the "Seventh National Symposium on Printing and Dyeing and Finishing" as an example. In the current textiles, the market share of yarn-dyed fabrics is increasing, and more and more functional products have been developed, such as non-ironing, antibacterial, anti-ultraviolet, hydrophilic finishing, skin care, heat storage processing, flame retardant , Antistatic, etc., some are directly added to the fiber to form functionalization. Some are functionalized through finishing technology, but in general, there are more products with a single function, and there are fewer yarn-dyed fabrics with more than three functions. The research and development organization of this technology is itself a manufacturer of high-end shirts, and has been committed to the development of functional products. It can prevent ultraviolet rays and resist the invasion of bacteria on a shirt, and give people a comfortable feeling. Performance is very attractive to consumers.
From this technology, it is not difficult to find that moisture wicking products have emerged in large numbers in recent years. Fiber types such as DuPont’s COOLMAX and Yizheng Chemical Fiber’s COOLBEST. This type of fiber changes the surface shape of the fiber to enable rapid moisture transmission. Distribute, increase the comfort of the human body. And to achieve comfort through finishing technology is to add a layer of hydrophilic substance to the fiber, such as CLARIANT company, CIBA company, 3M company all have better products.
